Halo 2 is mediocre and overated

I don't understand how its campaign is heralded as the best in the series. Most of the levels are straight hallways. The graphics are uglier than Halo CE. The guns are worse. The difficulty is fucked. Normal and heroic are too easy, and legendary is impossible. I feel as if Halo 2 is worse than every way than 1. Even its story is overly cheesy and dull.

For the time it came out it was pretty amazing. The reason people hype it up is because of nostalgia.

Played it for the first time few years ago it was fun, game gave you plenty of variety in gameplay despite of being a corridor shooter and having too many story segments, being linear is not a cons plenty of greatest fps games are linear with scripted encounters, Halo 1 is also overrated vastly empty fields full of nothing but guns felt better in that game graphics was also not downgraded and rushed like halo 2, but while those games may be overrated at least they still are good games underneath while with Halo 3 you have absolutely zero redeeming values and yet normies are praising that game for no reason it's a total piece of shit with most bullet spongy enemies you can fight.
