I have thinning hair at the top, you can see my scalp when I take a photo from the top.
I am trying to figure out if this is just from age or if my calorie deficit is causing it.
I have lost over 25lbs over the past three months and it says on google that hair loss can occur when you are on a calorie deficit. On average I probably am on a 500-700 deficit.
I won't know for sure until I lose the weight and increase my calories and see if my hair improves.

Are guys in your family losing hair? If so, it's probably genetic. If not, then it's probably diet or other lifestyle factors.
