I believe that you can put as much weight as you want if you're doing a deadlift;
It won't work in the case of benchpress or squats, because you need a perfect technique to not harm yourself and it will be extremely dangerous for your life if you put on too heavy weight, there lots of cases people dying because they were squashed by weights. These cases made a little bit paranoid.
But now I put almost 90% of my bodyweight into barbell for deadlift without any worries; It won't kill me if I drop it compared to other exercises.

90% bw for deadlifts isnt even gonna hurt you if you do it with bad form most likely, still focus on the form tho so the nervous system adapts well and efficiency
