I wanna try the gymcel style of losing weight. Do you guys have like online calorie calculators and know your daily metabolism to kep the basics healthy like organs and stuff?

I could do 7 kilos a week before I gave up

I lost 8 kg by having 1 meal every 3 days and I have no stomach now, life fuel tbh

explain how pliz
Eat nothing but lunch every day, drink more water. You can absolutely eat nothing but lunch. Maybe 1 protein bar or some protein powder. Do that for a week so your body gets used to it.

Then start exercising. What worked for me best was 2 hours of cardio daily and 1.5 hours of weight lifting.

But that is not sustainable and will lead to burnout. Do 45 - 60 mins of cardio every day (even walking is fine if you don't have gym equipment or gym membership, you can also do pushups instead of lifting weights. )

You will also feel a lot better if you consume supplements with minerals, iron, and vitamins. That is a must on huge calorie deficits. Those pills are dirt cheap anyway.

The most important thing is not to give in to snacks, junk food, sugary drinks, alcohol, etc.

I would not recommend losing 7 kilos a week. 3 is a much better pace but still fast.

ok thanks brocel

It doesnt work you cant lose weight

For me for a diet (with cardio) to actually be sustainable you're looking at no more than 1-2kg, unless you've got a lot to lose in the first place. You've got to be realistic.

I track my calories eating 1600 and day and getting 140+ grams protein.

If you eat too little you will lost a lot of muscle. Its best to take it slow.

Less than kg tbh of pure fat, 90% of weight loss is water anyway.

I need to gain weight actually, I'm skinny as a jew

Consistency, 1500 cal + walking, only way that works for me. Started last summer at 98kg, now im at 85, no loose skin, no crazy diets, still drinking sodas, energy drinks and eating pasta. Best to choose something that you can stick to long term not to gain back.

Yeah, 1kg or less. To lose actual 1kg you need to burn extra 8000 cal, which isnt so easy as people make you believe.

Walking 10000 steps burns only 400 calories

Still its the best way to lose weight, as more intense stuff you cant do longer time. I mean once someone gets to the point where he could run for an hour, then thats the best option. People mistake flushing water with losing fat. Also habits ruin diets once we relax. Lets say at 90kg you require 2200 cal to stay the same, and 1700 cal to lose. But once you drop to 80kg, going back to 2200 will make you gain weight. Body needs time to get used to less calories and not feel hungry. Now i get full on something that i would consider ridiculous 6 months back.

Ok got you. I guess there is a formula that you use and calculate using your weight and height and amount of exercise per day.

But the easiest is just to stay a bit hungry all the time that way you 100% you are just meeting your basic calorie requirements for healthy functioning and any movement is burning fat at that point?

:yes:calorie deficit is a must. You know your habits how much you eat. Just cut out 1 third. Feeling slightly hungry all the time is a good indicator that youre in calorie deficit.
