Great importance is given to the physical appearance of gods and goddesses. Positive gods are usually pretty. Negative gods such as Hades are ugly.
They didn't fall for the trap of equating ugliness with IQ. The smartest gods are also the most handsome, such as Apollo. Just like in real life where frat boys are also good students.
There's a story of an ugly workcel who kidnaps a JB in his basement (Hades and Persephone).
In the Iliad, the world is reduced to a smouldering ruin over the beauty of a 10/10 woman. Beauty is recognized as the primary motivator of men.
The Greeks made no distinction between ugly in looks and ugly in spirit before Socrates. They equated the two, using the same word, knowing all too well that ugliness usually leads to bitterness and envy.
Zeus runs rape game on every pretty woman he sees.
Pretty blackpill tbh.
