Thats just an excuse for shitty and lazy design, there is no reason a game cant be authentic, its an insult against the ancient craft of weapon smithing, its what a foid would design as an obvious phallic analogy because muh big dick good.

Fuck that game. I rather a more fun Dark Souls game like Remnant From The Ashes because at least it has guns. Fuck those swords and axes as I'm tired of that kind of gameplay.

They should have made the handle thicker it would look more realistic and it would be more intimidating.
