Total CGI fest targeted at soys and kids that's straight off of the formulaic assembly line that was built by Marvel Studios. No creativity, no maturity, no nuance, no complexity, no cinema at all. Just overload of CGI and inclusion of tons of other superheroes as if they're playing with action figures rather than building up characters. And the sad part is, this kind of formulaic fast food style of superhero trash is enough to make the soys drool so they'll keep making more of it because its financially safe and very rewarding, a holy grail combo in business which is very hard to find.

I'd absolutely accept this Hispanic Superman from Justice League Gods and Monsters though because he's dark, morally complex, and nuanced. He's Zod's son, not Jor-Els, which makes him an anti-hero.

I don't think its the cheapening and democratization of tech. Its the soy mentality that's behind this.

Because its CGI overload with inclusion of tons of side characters from other comic books as if they're all action figures being played with rather than being genuine characters. The budget is big, but the lack of creativity is something it just can't compensate.
