Ugly and dumb= While definitely being handicapped from looks you'd still be low inhibited enough/lack the self reflection to question yourself to get laid. Socializing in general is a low impulse centered activity for the most part. Which is why those of higher IQs who are pensive and nervous never make a lot of friends.
Handsome and smart= In theory this would be the best combination because you have have two very excitable traits. However, depending how intelligent ( past 110) you'd have trouble connecting and relating to people since you aren't. Reference points for things would become different. It's actually pretty common for guys who are good looking yet cuz how is it to be? Alone/ single. Look at Fran's charactr. It is a very intelligent writer who was also described d by women as boy should get looking yet. She was terribly afraid of women and didn't know how to approach them. This combination sort of defeats itself ultimately.
