If I remember correctly, that quote is from 1921, when he was a 24-year-old guy. I'm already older than him. Interesting fact, Goebbels had a deformed right foot, which prevented him from enlisting into the army when the First World War broke out. Him, being a non-combatant in a party full of soldiermaxxed men was a constant source of envy and humiliation for Goebbels as he felt inadequate in such a crowd.
