God of War 2018 was much better than I expected tbh

Played the Greek era God of War games years ago and loved them but wasn't really interested in the Norse era. I thought the game didn't look too interesting but some weeks ago I wanted to play it so bought it on Ps4.

Really enjoyed the game! I liked the new combat system and how you could upgrade your gear which gives you different stats. Game has plenty of epic moments and battles which make you really feel like a god. Also how there's plenty of exploration but the open world doesn't feel excessive, and if you want you can skip all sidequests and exploration and do the story which is pretty linear. Talking about the story interesting how this version of Kratos isn't as brutal and edgy like the Greek era, I guess you could call it character development? All the other characters were pretty cool too. Graphics still look amazing and the dub (played it in English) and OST are very memorable.

Might also play God of War Ragnarok in some time but just wanted to say this was so much better than I thought it would be.

Why? The game isn't woke and didn't change any character races or have empowered Mary Sue female characters for being more inclusive. Kratos still kills a lot but only in self defense.

Doesn't matter, it's still a reddit game. It's a game for older millennials who played the original games when they were edgy teenagers but have since become adult redditfags, so they changed Kratos' personality to be more soy and gave him a kid so the designated target audience could relate to him.

Ironically God of War 1 for Ps2 has way more puzzles specially the whole Pandora's temple section

Yeah i know, i remember. I liked their puzzles more tho. In new gow when you stand for long enough other characters will pretty much tell you what to do

I was surprised when I read online many hated Pandora's temple for being too hard or having too many puzzles Nigga if you didn't like that part then you didn't like half of the game.

I thought it was very memorable and epic.
