This is a constant point of contestation that I had during my darkest days given I have always been conditioned to believe at the omnipresence and omni-goodness of a God who is always there for me.
I took me some time, months actually to heal myself and let go of that anger and transitioning into an agnostic-atheist - I don't care about whatever Gods are now anyway.
I think it has helped me a lot when such a bubble of mine has been burst and so brutally - because that's what letting go of one's believes are - absolute trauma.
I think I started healing when I realised it is not a bad thing that I have to be self-dependent and I have complete control of things that I can control and not wait for things to be magically accomplished. I use the locus of control and positive affirmation during my daily journaling.
