Forget about love not existing or other such cynical concepts for a second. I'm as cynical and skeptical and nihilistic about it as it gets, but forget about that for a second.

Imagine love. This concept that we've seen in countless movies, books, songs etc...

It's perhaps one of the greatest things a human being can experience. Truly try to imagine it, two people living for one another, caring about each other so deeply that the whole world seems brighter and happier.

I was reading a story and I let my brain really imagine myself loving and being loved. Was such a warm and cozy feeling, words can't express how great it would have felt.

And yet it will never happen. Even if I do "ascend", true love I won't experience. It's just not how the world works, it's just fantasy for most people, especially for those on the uglier side.

Without even reading this, I can. The moment I went from 17 to 18 over 10 years ago, I knew I would never experience it. The best time to experience true love is in your teenage years. If you're 18 to 25, you're way past the point of experiencing true love.
