Skype had a live interception backdoor embedded into its functionality. Discord doesn't encrypt a single damn thing for you. Telegram, whose server-side implementation is closed source, has its own backdoors too, and don't even get me started on (((WhatsApp))).Tsk, no way someone can see my conversations! What are you, some kind of conspiracy theorist?
This should be no surprise, but the Feds can obviously just tap your communication straight from the cable.I'll just write my own communication program!
NSA niggers are known to have actively inserted backdoors in cryptography protocols. If I just encrypt my messages then surely I'll be fine.
Think again, nerd.I'll be safe so long as I use Tor!
The NSA has tried to backdoor Linux at least three times --- and those are just the attempts that we know of.I'll just use Linux because they are open source!
As a matter of fact, even the most secure software in the world cannot protect you against hardware backdoors such as Intel's ME, which literally runs as a separate parasitic computer, cannot be disabled, has full access to all your data and can run even when your PC is turned off.No problem, I'll run Tails off a USB so I have all the nifty security features!
Moral of the story: Internet anonimity is an illusion. Assume that the Feds know who you are and can see every word that you type on your computer, and act accordingly.
