Asked a girl out. She said yes.
She emphatically swore she had a good time. I'm not oblivious - I can tell she genuinely did enjoy it. But she flat-out said no to both letting me hold her hand and a second date. When I asked for a second date, she said "No because I need to take care of/focus on myself for now."
Why would she accept a first date then?
I should mention, this girl is in my class. We were never friends before I asked her out, but now she acts like we are. I almost get the feeling that she treated the date as nothing more than a free dinner from someone she never had any interest in in the first place.
Do you think it sucks more to get rejected for a second date than a first? I honestly think it does, as someone who's never made it past date 1.
