The group is said to have entered a holiday resort and carried out "pornographic acts" in front of guests there: three German tourists and a Dutch woman were arrested on a holiday island in the Philippines, among other things for trespassing, the police said. The incident happened on Sunday in the seaside resort of General Luna on the island of Siargao, almost 800 kilometers south-east of the capital Manila.
The group consists of two 29-year-old men and a 25-year-old woman with German citizenship and a 23-year-old Dutch woman.
The tourists were drunk, said a local police spokeswoman for the dpa news agency. They allegedly engaged in "salacious, lascivious acts" in front of other guests, including children, in the resort's bar. A child ran away, fell and hit his head on the ground, a police report said.
The Germans and the Dutch woman are now being accused of trespassing, among other things. They were allowed to post bail but were instructed not to leave the island until further notice. It was unclear whether they were at large on Thursday. A date for the reading of the indictment was not initially set.
