I started lifting and can barely do 100lbs. I'm only doing it for a few weeks. I'm older too .
I don't really have a large appetite and I know I should be eating more, but still.... This is way under what a 180lb man should be able to do.
Do genetics play a role in how you gain? Seems some guys have natural muscles with little working out. I did develop nice arm muscles tough.
