To simply tell the japanese that their beloved emperor is actually subhuman bug eyed insect and their whole race is actually subhuman itself.

It was probably this day that short circuited japanese women primal brain to what we have now: the oxford study.

The decision to take the famous Hirohito-MacArthur photograph was made primarily by General Douglas MacArthur and his staff, likely with approval from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers (SCAP) headquarters.

MacArthur's team carefully managed public relations and understood the power of imagery. The photograph was meant to send a message to both Americans and Japanese about the new power structure in Japan.

As the Supreme Commander, MacArthur had the final say on media strategy. He deliberately chose to wear casual military attire to emphasize the contrast between his authority and Hirohito’s diminished status.

While Hirohito did not initiate the photo, he complied with the arrangement because he wanted to protect the imperial institution and help stabilize Japan.

Why was it taken?

To demonstrate U.S. dominance and the emperor’s submission.

It was not a spontaneous moment—it was a carefully orchestrated propaganda tool that shaped public perception of postwar Japan.

Its over for bataviacels.

It was a carefully studied move by the geniuses of the allies :feelsohh::feelsohh:

"Me taller than you, me owns you :owo:"

Truly a next level IQ strategic move we got right here.

This kind of shit is probably more powerfull than sending nukes

McArthur was actually pretty respectful to the Emperor because he knew it would be easier to bring the Japs on board with both men on the same side. Obviously McArthur needed to make sure his authority was undisputed so there was a mogging or two involved, but both men respected one another.
