I'm not referring to post-game depression; I'm discussing a game that evokes feelings of sadness or emptiness while playing it. For me, that game was Thief (2014).
I got this game back in 2015 with Xbox Gold Pass.Thief (2014)

you share my sentiments?I got this game back in 2015 with Xbox Gold Pass.
I never indulged on its plot because I was probably bored back at that time. The asylum part was depressing. I bought SOD 1 indie instead.you share my sentiments?
LISA The Painful, if we're not counting visual novels
Saya no Uta, Clannad, White Album 2, Full Metal Daemon Muramasa, most things by Nitroplus reallydrop some depressing visual novels too
High school days.drop some depressing visual novels too
Season 4 for me tooThe Walking Dead Season 1
Artificial loneliness has that effect on me, so much that I can’t stop shilling Shadow of the Colossus everywhere I go, kek.evokes feelings of sadness or emptiness
The Walking Dead Season 1
Did Telltale ever release S4? Ah, nevermind.Season 4 for me too
Is it even worth playing after season 2? That’s where I stopped tbh. I hated A New Frontier.Season 4 for me too
No. Season 2 is still good, though. Season 3 will bring closure to Kenny's storyline. Is it even worth playing after season 2? That’s where I stopped tbh. I hated A New Frontier.
Yes but barely they were closing down at the time but even still it is still a masterpiece. Clementine is 17 in season 4. I will not type too much about it to not spoil for the guy I will respond to below but I reccomend it, you can skip a new frontier if you want it barely matters overall to the story it is more of its standalone thing but I was a massive telltale TWD fan so the more content the better to me.Did Telltale ever release S4? Ah, nevermind.
I never liked Clementine as an adult. I wanted to play as Kenny.
imo yesIs it even worth playing after season 2? That’s where I stopped tbh. I hated A New Frontier.
I liked it. Season 3 brought closure to Kenny's story. That's everything I cared for.can see why people don't like it.

Lee was a BBC high-T murderer bull.kenny>>>lee

Yeah, season 2 was brilliant but 1 will always hold a special place.No. Season 2 is still good, though.
His character arc in S1 was decent albeit slightly generic from what I can remember. They really couldn’t just stop milking his storyline cause of just how much normies loved him.Season 3 will bring closure to Kenny's storyline.
More like suicidefuel jfl.among us
It just struck me as one of those things where the devs don’t wanna try tackling with a new IP so they resort back to what was already established and expected of them.imo yes
A new frontier kind of stands alone from the rest of the story, if you do not like it you can pretty much omit it entirely it does not matter to clementines story, and if you wanted to you could basically play it as a prequel to see what happens between season 2 and 4. I liked a new frontier though
That and TWAU were peak TellTale. Appreciate the dedicated response.Season 1 and 2 feel very similar
Slop tbh.I would also reccomend michonne telltale TWD
Yeah season 2 was an excellent sequel and continuation and season 1 always will be special for Lee and just that first season first time playing magicYeah, season 2 was brilliant but 1 will always hold a special place.
Probably yeah, TWD was so big and they probably just wanted to milk it, because it is random and out of place and then they just threw clementine in there to make it relevant. It's basically like season 3 does not happen in season 4 and it actually creates a small plot hole for season 4 imo.It just struck me as one of those things where the devs don’t wanna try tackling with a new IP so they resort back to what was already established and expected of them.
TWAU season 2 will apparently be something at some point so lifefuel for thatThat and TWAU were peak TellTale. Appreciate the dedicated response.
At the very least listen to this, its the opening song for the episodes I find it very badassSlop tbh.
most modern games make me suicidal, seeing how MY passion and hobby got ruined by disgusting faggots that don't even care for gamesMore like suicidefuel jfl.
The Woke Among Us 2 jfl.TWAU season 2 will apparently be something at some point so lifefuel for that
Remains to be seen igThe Woke Among Us 2 jfl.
Lee storyline sucks, quite honestly.normies
Seemed fine to me, you could choose how violent he was too, why do you think its bad?Lee storyline sucks, quite honestly.

Because I am unable to relate to Lee's life and what he did (killing a random senator after he slept with his wife), nor Kenny's father/husband life. However, Kenny's rage is easily comparable to mine.Seemed fine to me, you could choose how violent he was too, why do you think its bad?
I think its relatable even as incel, someone was banging his wife so he got angry and killed them. Kennys story I could put myself in his shoes too, I think his rage in season 2 towards clementine was a bit silly but I suppose that character flaw of his is what made him such a great characterBecause I am unable to relate to Lee's life and what he did (killing a random senator after slaying a girl?), nor Kenny's. He lost his mind over Season 2. Losing a child takes its toll on a father, especially during a chaotic scenario. Of course, I can't relate to that part since I never had a son/daughter in the first place.I think its relatable even as incel, someone was banging his wife so he got angry and killed them. Actually that part I can concede, I can empathize with losing a child but I have no idea what its like it seems people get really fucking distraught over itHe lost his mind over Season 2. I've lost my own sanity over a girl, once back in a time. I cried a few times (not the first rejection) but I still remember how mentally disabled I ended up.Actually that part I can concede, I can empathize with losing a child but I have no idea what its like it seems people get really fucking distraught over it
Yup. Have you ever tried Chernobyl world? I still remember roleplaying alone while getting scared from bats inside abandoned dark placesMinecraft
Survival is worse than Silent Hill, you're alone and that's it, reminds me of real life and that's why it scares me so much
Is like playing my own life and if you start to dig only monsters will show up and there's no one to help you, neither someone to share the adventure with you
Only you
