The majority of modern game devs cannot program to save their lives, and rely on unreal engine as a crutch. These "people" one hundred percent deserve to be replaced by ai.

problem is that they don't hire engineers anymore but rather designers, writers and artists who know how to use unreal engine.

Yeah that's most of the people being laid off, and the areas mostly affected by DEI and other forms of diversity programs. Most programmers and even 3D modellers aren't that bad.
