People who get girls are going to experience a positive feedback loop from their looks and will put it down to game because the only time they were rejected was when their "game" wasn't up to par. When they see ugly guys being rejected they'll call out your lack of game as that's the only rejection criteria they've experienced themselves since they never had to deal with being ugly. Often people will resist calling you ugly to your face unless they want to take a jab at you.
