a better story to follow than Frieren, which extremely quickly loses its focus and concept about the passage of time and enjoying the present/coming to terms with the past into trope-filled retardation like "hehe isn't Fern so gluttonous", "hehe isn't Stark so normal but somehow makes Fern angry" (then he disappears for over half the anime), "isn't Frieren so silly" after like 4 episodes
