I just dawned upon me as a major revelation. The free will copers use the very fact that we can argue about the existence of free will as a proof of free will. This is just circular logic, lol. Sure, unlike lower animals, we have the ability to think abstractly and hypothetically, but the ability to actually act upon your thoughts is still restricted by biological, environmental, and social constraints. Checkmate, free-willers.
