The claim that low fertility has a relationship to economics is totally retarded on its face, because the richest countries in the world have the lowest fertility, while the poorest countries have the highest fertility rate. The only rich countries with reasonable birthrates are strict Islamic states.
The problem is women’s rights. As long as you have women’s rights, you’re going to be headed to extinction.
