Wasn't femcels originally a troll sub? I think it originated as a parody of braincels (I remember seeing it with hardly any activity early last year where it would just be posts from braincels but with a gender swap. I.e. you will never have this: picture of a stacy r/braincels. Then one hour later you will never have this: picture of chad r/trufemcels. That's also where the whole wurstie joke came from). But then foids unironically began calling themselves femcels and you could tell it was real because they'd have actual post histories with photos of themselves and shit.
