In defense of @knajjd he is the most active moderator so he handles more reports than the rest of us, so more users are more likely to get banned or warned by him than by any other mod, thus creating a greater penumbra of users affected by knajjd's moderation. If we generously assume that up to 25% of users disagree/are somehow offended by a warning they receive regardless of merit, that means the population of users who are naturally against knajjd will always be climbing faster than any other mod/admin. I have gotten significantly less hate in the past two months since I have had to step back a bit from the site to handle IRL responsibilities, which further confirms this hypothesis in my mind.
I'm not going to pretend that all mods are completely impartial or perfect, of course. We all make mistakes once in a while. We do our best but whoever is the most active in a month or even 24 hour period will always attract the most attention to themselves. In fact, one could argue that whichever mod you share a sleep-wake cycle with is the one you are most likely to be pissed off at.
