Otaku or weeb men are among the most socially rejected minorities, even without being hostile they are targets of criticism and humiliation (regardless of their attitude they are victims of normie nastiness), I have met several otakus and they are some of the nicest and most understanding people, so it is totally unjustified.
Although it is obvious, I stress that I am referring specifically to the stereotypical otaku man, the virgin or weird 'freak', who has the lifestyle as, not the normie who claims to be otaku, or worse, the otaku woman, which is nauseating to even think about, anyway, having clarified that, within the same incel 'community' there is discrimination against them, it seems no one cares but I couldn't help but notice it.
It's not about the taste itself, clearly, as a woman can have the same tastes and nothing happens (even if they say it's equal, it's not), but about the social hypocrisy in the face of the blatant saying that the natural role of men is to be masculine and dominant, denying as always the fact that a human male can develop (due to hormonal factor, social context, etc) differently than most of them, inevitably and without being able to change it, it's the same society that insists with that we are all equal, and other lies, but does not apply it when it comes to the chaste man, we are supposed to live in society but this same society wants to be governed by natural norms when it suits them, and it is only when it comes to judge masculinity and the role of men, without covering the rest of the aspects of the law of the jungle that they can not avoid, that is the normies argue that this is the way it is in nature to justify their bad acts against the virgin man, as if they act by instinct and not by conscience.
Going back to the topic of tastes, being otaku is frowned upon mostly because of its relation with male virginity, since women who are otaku are only judged (and very little) if they have a very caricatured and childish attitude, the same factor that they usually use as an excuse to do the same to the otaku man, which is false, obviously they take advantage of that to trample the virgin, actually there are very few otaku with those behaviors nowadays, and generally they are minors, besides that attitude which tends to denote pity is present in virtually any area, such as normies in tik tok for example, I reiterate, an excuse of society.
Of course, I also include any geek community that has the same signs, like gamers and geeks (or not necessarily geek, like moviegoers and rockers/melomaniacs, but these are seen in a more normal way, although I have also noticed that they are related), but I focused on the otaku because they are the most judged.
