What is your typical diet like?
college dfac diet + noodles and tv dinners, and sometimes takeout from restaurants.
I woukout everyday tho

I usually eat just one meal a day for breakfast. This morning was steak and eggs with hash browns.
So a form of intermittent fasting I guess? My breakfast is just coffee or Monster, I eat kind of a small lunch which is when I get most of my carbs in, and then have a much bigger dinner which is usually more focused on just protein/fat.

Yeah sorta similar here, I eat at the dining facility on my campus which can be sorta good at times, but is usually dry as fuck. I also eat at the fast food places on campus sometimes, and will get takeout. I usually do cook my own dinner though.

Yeah it's convenient because there's less dishes to wash.

For gaining weight, try to lift weights and gain lean muscle instead of fat. 160 pounds is probably ideal for a 5'9 man.
