Once you get to my height which is around 5’5/5’6 you may aswell just tell people your height since it is very obvious that you are short
At 5’8 I could see it being possible to lie about being 5’9 but theres no point when you are genuinely short

If you lie about it at my height your saying a number that sounds better but everyone can see the reality
