It was a big thing in the Baroque era. They would cut the balls off of young boys who could sing well so that they could sing for rich noble foids in the opera. The castrati were renowned as lovers because they could last longer (does this remind you of one of the excuses foids use for mutilating the penises of young boys?).

There are no examples of the mutilation of female bodies being socially acceptable in the West (who cares about the Islamic world, it's a shithole area with a shithole religion), but there is the castrati, circumcision, etc...for men.
