Seriously, we should blame the universe as whole. Females only act they way they are hardwired to by natural selection over millennia. Going ER or any of that bullshit won't change anything. We are simply the results of bad DNA quality, our "bad" looks is only a mirror of our genes deemed undesirable. If in this day and age if you are considered ugly, that simply means that your genetic make-up is subconsciously deemed not worthy for the sacrifice the female has to make both in time and energy. In other words, her instincts will subconsciously tell her that you biologically bring nothing to the table that will help ensure the survival of her genes if they merge with yours, so you are not worth it. While a man can impregnate as often as he like, women sacrifice 9 months during which they become vulnerable. Choosing the best male is the basic strategy.
