Yeah, but you’re thinking small change. A few thousand from each at most. This isn’t enough for your typical hoe. She wants lavish vacations, nice neighborhoods, and all the fancy drinks she wants.

The big thing about the higher six figure earnings is that cost of living stops rising with your pay, so you can end up pocketing hundreds of thousands a year. After a certain point, living expenses like food, utilities, insurance, etc. become completely insignificant. Starting low, better pay usually means nicer area, higher local taxes, more expensive housing, more reliable cars, etc. This stops happening at a certain point basically, and you have to think creatively to even know how to spend your money.

Where I see people fuck this up usually (I know quite a few high earners) is they usually by a stupid big house they don’t need (usually at the wife’s request) or they have multiple new, expensive cars they’re upside down in. There’s really nothing else you can buy that can really hurt you once you’re at that payscale.
