Woman arrested after animal cruelty caught in ‘disturbing’ video: Sheriff

The video that led to her arrest was circulating social media, the Butler County Sheriff's Office said.

Katelin Conklin, 28, is charged with cruelty to animals and domestic violence, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The 28-year-old was arrested after the sheriff’s office says they were made aware Monday of a “disturbing” video that was posted on social media.

The video shows a woman, identified by the sheriff’s office as Conklin, punching her boyfriend and choking a dog.


The dog is heard in the video struggling to breathe, the sheriff’s office described.

Conklin also “forcefully” threw the dog to the ground, according to the information from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
