It's great having a place of your own and a refuge away from the nightmare that is the outside world, however, you've now joined the ball and chain gang that is paying 60% of your income per month just to have a place of your own to live at.

You're in the residential honeymoon phase, it's great, but it won't last for long. Congratulations though as it can always be much worse.

Also, check the air conditioner, furnace, and water heater first thing before moving into any house. Check the washer and dryer for washing clothes as well.

It's always a good idea to get acquainted with the electrical fuse box as well if you have one concerning electrical power outages. There will be times periodically that you will have to replace those fuses.

These things are a must to know moving into any place.

One more thing, fuck that whole washing dishes by hand bullshit, get a dishwasher, it makes things so much easier.

Check the working order of your refrigerator and oven stoves. Gas oven stoves are a pain in the ass where they can also be dangerous, go electric instead if you can.
