I've never been a fan of gore for the sake of gore, not to say I don't ever want to see it for example I like it in war movies because it adds to the realism and horror of the scene but movies like this just over do it for me.

The plot twist at the end of Saw is one of the best in movie history. So happy no one spoiled it to me and I watch it without knowing. Too bad that the sequels were mediocre (some just okay and others bad) except maybe Saw II and Saw VI.

I hate gore, it's a thing for 12-16 year olds. if you like it beyond that age it just shows you never grew up mentally.

But if you want a good gore movie. (At least I remember it being gorey as fuck when I first watched it.) try Battle royale

That movie is absolutely amazing. I saw it at premiere not knowing what it was about, and came out of it a Matt Dillon fan.

I have never watched a gore film, the closest i have ever come to watching one would be Texas chainsaw massacre (1974) which I really enjoyed.

Off the top of my head there's the Final destination series (after the third they weren't as good however). Dog soldiers. Jeepers creepers. Saw movies when they were good. Hostel series. Wolf Creek is pretty funny if you get a chance to watch. Probably more as I watch all kinds of shit.

I'm not really a fan of gore tbh, i saw a fucking ton of horror movies in the last year tho. Best i saw were: The Wailing, I saw the devil, The house that jack built, Hereditary. Those i really liekd

There's a Japanese movie that reminds me of gore like no other movie. Cold Fish 2010, also has a lot of good erotic scenes

i think "quarantine" is a very good zombie gore film also i like how they're all locked inside the building without any way to escape, it puts way more pressure on the charcters like that.
also "the thing" is very good but i never liked the ending, could have been better
