people have told me before to dress better. like what the fuck, why? i can't dress like a normie, since i'm not one. i have to dress like a fucking peasant so i don't look like a clown who thinks i'm worth more than i actually am. i'd look like a joke in formal clothing, or any pretentious shit with designs on it. i don't wear shorts because my hairy ass wooly mammoth legs will just disgust everyone around me, and i don't wear skinny jeans either because i look like an anorexic fag with them on, even with an average fit i look like a twig. the only thing i don't look punchable in is ill fitting pants, hoodie and tennis shoes. this sort of advice is useless as fuck, normies just say it so you can be their laughing stock, they hope truecels are dumb enough to fall for their shit advice and actually go do it to make themselves look like a joke to entertain everybody.

I have the exact same problem. I literally stopped even going on lonely walks because I feel self-conscious about my clothing. I just don't know how to dress. I never know if something fits me well or if the colors match or whatever. I used to dress like such a moron around 2 years. I cringe so hard when I look back at pictures now but tbh I still dress shit.

Going from dressing normally to dressing well doesn't do anything unless you're trying to appeal to a certain demographic ie e-girls.
Going from dressing like your senile 80 year old grandma picks out clothes for you to dressing like a normal young person is important though.

that's true, my mother used to control everything about me when i was a kid and she made me dress like a fool (no joke, she bought me several pairs of fucking cargo shorts). she never let me shave during high school years because she was scared i'd cut myself or get ingrown hair and crap like that, so i was going everywhere with a shitty perv stache.
