-the pioneers are a bunch of passive aggressive downers that give you nothing in return for your work
-you get power armor and a minigun as your starting weapons. in new vegas that was the endgame gear
-the mastermind behind the pioneers is an ugly nigger with a cowboy hat, and he failed to protect his group in every way possible
-the enemies are way too easy
-the environment design suck dick, i don't get why people say its beautiful and interesting
-500% less dialogue options, choices don't matter, quests are forced
-victor is 10 times better than the gay ass robot they give you
-your dog is invincible, what the fuck?
-no one really has an agenda, everyone are just wandering around doing absolutely nothing.
-the graphics are just fucking ugly.

Nah it's a good game, enjoying it so far, just turn the difficulty to "hard" so it's not pisseasy.

such a boring game i really tried to force myself to enjoy it. back in the 2000's being able to change your character after the character creator, have kids a romance and shit, unique NPC animations, voiced dialog etc etc etc was all unheard, now there is so much fancy detailed shit packed into games its almost like I take it for granted. I remember when I thought Fable 2 was one of my top 10 games of all time.

I remember when I first played skyrim during an ice cold december in 2011, probably one of the best moments of my entire life. It was just so detailed and comfy, it really sucked you in. I play a new game like Fallout 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, RDR2 and I really don't love it like I used to.

I dunno, man.

Tbh, I love Fallout 2, it introduced me to the series, i've never played the first game though, i'd rank the series as such;

1- Fallout New Vegas
(combines the best aspects of all the games in one)
2- Fallout 2
(Great storyline and RPG mechanics)
3- Fallout 3
(Nice gunplay and exploration)
4- Fallout 4
(Same as the third game except people hate it because it's new)

It being new isn't the problem. For me the issue was that 4 has lost the Fallout feel, things are more cartoonish and the dialogue is fucked. It's a great game, it's just not a good Fallout game; I think that's why hardcore fans of the series dislike it.

It being new isn't the problem. For me the issue was that 4 has lost the Fallout feel, things are more cartoonish and the dialogue is fucked. It's a great game, it's just not a good Fallout game; I think that's why hardcore fans of the series dislike it.

I'm a firm believer in "the art direction doesn't make the game", the art direction is new, the lighting makes the game looks like a Pixar movie but this isn't a fair criteria by which one judges the game by, the dialog is kinda fucked in some slight ways though, and it's not as bad as people make it out to be, sure the sliders say "sarcastic" "yes" or "no" but the character says different things and that's alright, so it's not that the dialogue is bad, it's that the dialogue lines are much less in quantity as the other games, still, they could have put more effort into making it as "full" so to speak as the other games.
