It's very clear that the tobacco industry which is on it's deathbed has been running psyops to try to make vaping uncool or seem unhealthy, all the while still trying to invigorate the "smoking makes you cool" meme. This psyop takes the form of associating vaping with uncool neckbeards and then dumb bluepilled redditors just run with it because they always follow the hivemind.

If you can't see that this is the case then you are clueless. Reddit is completely controlled by companies running propaganda. What, did you really think a shitty text based community site could be worth many billions of dollars just from reddit gold and meaningless points?

Then companies will step in and give reddit gold to posts that make them look good.

I have seen so many cute popular girls that vape and nobody thinks it's weird or cringy. At my work, older middle age people vape. I even see Chad's vaping.

but I can't recall ever seeing a neckbeard vape.

This is surprising, haven't thought about it before. I know there are "social media" teams aimed at promoting certain products in Reddit by giving gold and upvoting, but haven't thought that they would actually pretend to be a consumer. 

Haven't been on Reddit for a while, and probably won't again. It all got lost on me when I saw the repetitive "My GF this..." and "My SO and I..."
