I remember being in rural village in Ethiopia when I was 15 and I couldnt use my phone or internet at all. I ended up listening to old radio that somehow was connected to BBC radio and would just sit listening to it for hours. If not that I would stare st night sky until I was tired. But now the idea of sitting down and listening to radio for hours seems like torture

My neighborhood once went through a black out and I ended up spending hours reading books I would never pick up. Maybe most of us are too lazy/complacent to actually want change or to go out of comfort zone.
