There is three options: whole humanity takes responsibility for all shit that happens to them, whole humanity blaming others for all shit that happens to them, whole humanity realises that there is some random stuff happening and sometimes there is no one who can be blamed, it's the thing that called a fate. If a woman complains about her life she is comforted. If a man complains he is reminded that his plight is entirely by his own doing. I've been told so many times that I am choosing to be miserable. People love to bring that line out, but I cannot figure out how it makes any sense at all.

Dropping my belief in free-will cleared up many things for me.

I had a similar experience. However recognizing that the idea of free will can't be true also means that others have no real volition of their own anymore than you do, and if you've been tormented by people, this can be pretty difficult to accept.

Often I have to make a conscious effort to remember what is happening, and that blaming either myself or other people is pointless.
