Yeah I love eating out but it’s so weird sitting alone with no one to talk to, it hurts.

this is why i like upscale hotel restaurants, because it's full of travelling professionals, well-off retirees, and foodies as opposed to normie couples on a date night

also if the maitre'd isn't stupid, they'll set you up on a relatively private table where you aren't in the middle of the room (where normies celebrating a special occasion want to be)

like i said, it's about picking the right establishments and the correct times (i.e. do not dine out alone on a friday/saturday night if you're not booking a private dining room). if done correctly you don't give a shit about anyone else.
