Reading it from a perspective of criticizing him or judging him for the murders doesn't count. If you actually read My Twisted World with an open mind, an attitude of trying to understand Elliot and pay attention to what he meant by the things he said, the feelings he was expressing etc, you'll realize he was an incredible human being, with a good heart actually, but everyone in his life failed him over and over, so unfortunately it had to end with the Day of Retribution which means Elliot died.

he was diagnosed but maybe the therapist just said what the parents wanted to hear, because they wanted some condition to blame. also, a diagnose doesn't mean you actually have that illness, specially when it comes to psychology, psychologists have no idea what they're doing, i went to a therapist and she was clueless
