When I do find someone that wants to be my friend, they end up hating me because I'm extremely reclusive. I don't answer messages, initiate contact, or check up on them in real life. I've grown to be like this - socializing with others feels draining and is mostly a net loss for me.

So when there is someone that seems to want to be my friend, I already know it is over before it began. They will always end up hating me because I'm reclusive.

I guess I don't want to go through the mental energy of figuring out a response. I think too much about small things, so I will ignore it. It isn't out of hatred, really. It is just that not responding simplifies my life.
