And ironically, being successful in finance is one of the few businesses which scales perfectly with size while retaining a similar amount of effort, so you can get reach more easily.

Rejecting prophets doesn't mean that you have bad morals.
And like I said, had they been allowed in all industries but were the only ones morally wrong to do them, I could see your point. But they were restricted in many other occuptions. Also, money-lending is seen as a sin in Judaism.
