Like, there is not a single movie/show/etc that does not have a love story fundamental to it. It is quite impossible to experience the human condition without it. Boomers and attractive people run hollywood, and they grew up with the experience that you're supposed to have to survive (high school sex) so they just naturally include it in every story. Not including love and sex into movies would basically be like instructing actors not to breath. It doesn't make sense, and would absolutely destroy any project that is supposed to depict humans. JFL at acting getting a gf doesn't matter. Every single piece of culture we have includes it because you can't EXIST without it.
When millennials take over hollywood maybe that will change (since 75% of men now days are incel) but probably not. It will still be Chad actors and slightly older rich chads as the execs. The lifefuel hidden is that hypergamy in 40 years will make it so that so few men experience love that there isn't enough non-incels in LA to actually run a full production studio and the movie industry will either die or just stop having love stories in general.
