Involution is when people work hard for something in an attempt to get ahead of others, but everyone are doing the same so results in harder work and yet no rewards, instead the hard work becoming baseline.

People getting bachelor degree in attempt to get well paying "highly" jobs, but everyone are doing the same, yet no one wants to work in "lowly" low paying jobs anymore, results in having a degree becomes a new baseline requirement.

You want work overtime more to get ahead of others, but everyone are doing the same therefore working overtime becomes a new requirement, yet wages stay the same

Every man goes to the gym, becoming slightly more attractive (gymceling can only get you so far), thus baseline is raised

I think you're overestimating how subservient most people are, while this is definitely true, with some of the more "red-pill" trash content being shown to teens and young adults I think more of them are starting to drift towards the black pill. As much as I hate Andrew Tate, he's probably caused some normal people to become at least more critical of women. As foids' expectations increase over time more people will become blackpilled, people who can get laid today may not be able to as easily or at all in a decade.
