I know it's a terrible thing to say, but I've noticed this over the years. Emotionally, in times of a person's needs, they act with empathy and kindness. I was reading some manga the other day where a guy who got dumped by his own girlfriend started talking about what a piece of trash he was and how he hated his life. The girl, who he didn't even know that well, was then telling him that it was okay to feel that way and that if he needed someone to talk to, she'd be there.
And you know what, I couldn't feel anything from that supposedly heartwarming scene. Because frankly, human girls don't act like that. They always go on about "toxic masculinity" and about how guys should show their softer side, but if you so much as show any weakness they'll shoot you down and make you wish you weren't born. Obviously Chad gets away with it, because of course he can.
And I'm sorry, I'm not being sexist or misogynistic or anything when I say this is only an issue with girls. Because if I see a girl, or even a guy, talk about how much they genuinely want to kill themselves, I won't care how they look, I'll really try to make things better.
I talked recently with a girl, and being as autistic as I was, tried reasoning with her. She started badmouthing some friends I had that don't even have any respect for me, but regardless I defended them, saying not to badmouth people you don't know anything about, saying stuff like that drives people like me to want to kill themselves. She said she already knew I wanted to die, and all my "ironic" posts about hating my life were unironic (everyone jokes around about wanting to kill themselves on social media nowadays). Just the fact that she knew that and didn't even care filled me with so much rage and depression. What even is the point of living anymore?
