Euroskeptic populist parties have made gains, but not been able to take over the system like we've seen in the US where Trump and his people have steadily gained grasp over deeper and deeper levels of political infrastructure. Even 10 years ago, America was much more conservative than Europeans with certain parts of its country having high religiosity and desire for tradition. Meanwhile, europeans have remained far more feminized, gynocentric, guilt-ridden over its colonial past, and leftist with strong focus on its welfare programs and regulation of private sector.
