2. Genetic recombination mostly determines the attractiveness. Having good looking parents makes it more likely but it is not an absolute indicator

physical attractiveness isn't even necessary to get laid to an extent. you just need something remotely humanoid. with eugenics there won't be competition as well because everyone is on equal footing after a while. There would hardly be room for people to wish they were hypergamous because sex would be seen as a secondary disportment amongst sterilized individuals whereas now it is man's main focus and determines future generations.

Also i wasn't trying to blame anyone i was making the point that people who have been disadvantaged by lack of eugenics, and who are also of the few able to consider the situation at their own leisure, should do so.
