I have to partially disagree with the people who take action against others already being messed up. The wider problem is that there's not a counter narrative. Nobody is asking "exactly why have so many people been disenfranchised in this social arena?" Pretty much everything else, we acknowledge that we're in a shit time. First time ever a generation is looking at worse living conditions than their parents - worse job prospects, a fucked up planet, unlikely to ever own their own home and politics which have moved from idealism and forging a better path into the future into just trying not to fuck up this week.
I see wider connections. I also see a hypersexualised society where people's expectations have been ante'd up all in the name of cynical profit for large corporations. Times have changed and sex = success hasn't come out of nowhere. For the longest time women have been battered with the need for makeup to "look good for society", but I suspect future expansion of profit isn't great there as they're dominating. Hence why they're now started to push it all on men.
We're not prepped, not unified. It's a mess.
Instead of finding the causes to this mess, people just jump onboard with everyone else to attack the effect(s). The future for this world is troubling to say the least.
That's because it's too complicated to comprehend. Utter chaos.
