Anime characters are assumed to be Japanese by the artists but in modern times they look more like their own race or even species (which brutally mogs all humans in my opinion). I imagine them as white because I'm a cumskin myself but that doesn't mean I think "hurr durr they're literally white" and I doubt Asian foids think that either.
